Advanced Study

Many graduates of the Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts program pursue advanced degrees for more specialized study.  The major makes available a wide range of options for both further academic and professional study.

Our students demonstrate the ability to excel across a broad spectrum of graduate programs. Promoting a creative spirit and a hunger to explore, the program cultivates articulate self-expression across a diversity of disciplines, an adaptive and empathetic mindset well-prepared for a changing world, and intelligent, inventive conflict resolution abilities applicable to a diversity of graduate programs.

Students enhance their options with relevant minors, internships, volunteer experience, and direct work experience in their field of choice.

In addition to meeting with their Academic Support Coordinator, students are encouraged to consult with professors and professionals in the field to help determine the most advantageous route to meet their goals.

Also, be sure to prepare for the necessary placement exam for the school and degree you will be seeking:  Graduate Record Examination (GRE), Law School Admission Test (LSAT), Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), or others.
