B.A. in Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts
The Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts major combines diverse areas of study to foster interdisciplinary knowledge where you pick the classes and academic fields to study and set the course for your future.
Our program is flexible and practical—allowing students to take courses from departments across the College of Liberal Arts, follow your passions, and cultivate a unique perspective and vision. Along the way, you’ll gain core career competencies, interpersonal confidence and expertise, and a richer understanding of our world.
Careers
Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts allows you to design your education around the humanities, arts, languages, literature, and social sciences to suit your individual and career interests.
You’ll graduate with strong skills in verbal/visual/digital communication, writing, analytical problem solving, and innovative thinking. Our students pursue a wide range of career paths across industries including public policy, healthcare, artistic production, law and government, city planning, information systems, journalism and media, education, marketing, foreign service, and many others.

Online Programs
The online Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts offers students a broad and flexible foundation to explore a variety of conceptual frameworks and develop skills and competencies employers value. Online interdisciplinary coursework includes communications, economics, political science, sociology, and the humanities.
Accelerated B.A.
Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts students can choose to pursue the Accelerated B.A. degree to graduate in 3 to 3.5 years instead of 4 years. Unique to Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts, accelerated students can earn multiple minors even while completing your degree on a condensed timeline.CSU Accelerated Programs
